Temperature of your car battery
If the charging power is lower than expected, it might be due to the car's battery temperature. If it’s very cold outside, and the battery isn’t fully conditioned, the charging speed might be unexpectedly low. Performance may also not reach the desired level if the battery temperature is very high due to intensive driving or the ambient temperature.
At low temperatures, the charging performance of your high-voltage battery can be restricted. When you charge at a CEE plug, and the charging performance falls below 6A, the charging process will stop and won’t be restarted automatically.
Battery Charge Care Mode
If you have enabled Battery Charge Care Mode in your PCM, your car's battery management system prioritizes battery health, which may lead to fast-charging taking longer.
Local charger settings
Local settings made on the charger can also lead to a reduction in charging performance.
