How do you end the Porsche charging process?

The charging process ends automatically when the vehicle is fully charged.

The charging process can also be stopped manually by unlocking the vehicle and disconnecting the charging cable.

At some public charging stations, charging can also be ended manually by clicking the stop button in the My Porsche app (Apple App Store/Google Play Store) or on the charger or by tapping your Porsche Charging Card on the card reader of the charger again.

Charging stations often set a maximum charging time for cars. If this time is exceeded, a blocking fee may be charged. The purpose of this fee is to ensure that charging points are promptly released after use, maintaining availability for other users.

By using the Porsche Charging Service, you benefit from exceeding the maximum allowed charging time (AC charging: by 240 minutes, DC charging: by 60 minutes) without blocking fees. In addition, take advantage of charging at Preferred Partners, such as Aral pulse or Ionity, where no blocking fees are charged.

In general, to avoid further charges after the end of the charging process, we recommend you park your car elsewhere.
