With Smart Service, you are proactively notified about upcoming maintenance and repair needs in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system of your car and in the My Porsche app. This function is also commonly known as Predictive Maintenance.
In addition, you can check the real-time status of selected car components and also plan service appointments quickly and conveniently through the My Porsche app. This ensures that your Porsche is always in optimal condition for maximum performance and driving pleasure.

Porsche Smart Service offers a range of benefits to enhance your ownership experience. Additionally, Porsche Smart Service offers personalised care through service reminders and proactive customer approaches ensures that your Porsche receives the attention it needs.
To activate and use Porsche Smart Service you need to ensure that the following preconditions are fulfilled:

Smart Service information will be displayed in your car’s PCM (Home > Smart Service) and in the My Porsche app (Home > Vehicle details > Smart Service > Service Information).
You can view the current list of components in your car's PCM as well as in the My Porsche app.
Once Smart Service identifies a service need, you will be proactively notified in your car and through the My Porsche app, along with action recommendations. Furthermore, a proactive customer approach may be initiated by your preferred Porsche Centre.
A general reset can only be performed by a workshop. However, for components where an expiration date can be set, e.g., first aid kit, tyre fit kit or a general inspection, you can reset them via the car's PCM. Just select the relevant component and choose Enter expiration date.
Identifications, usage and operational data, analysis data, condition data, as well as – if applicable – other technical car data are transmitted.
