How can I view and manage my Porsche Connect services?

All your active contracts and Connect services that are available for purchase are accessible in the Porsche Connect Store. Here you can view, buy and extend as well as cancel services.

How can I view my active Porsche Connect services?

An overview of your activated Porsche Connect services, including activation status and contract duration, is available in the following areas:

In the Connect Store under My active contracts.In the My Porsche app:Tap Account (person icon in the bottom navigation bar).Select Contracts.

How do I manage my Porsche Connect contracts?

You can manage your contracts directly in the Connect Store. This includes purchasing, extending and cancelling services, as well as updating your billing address and payment method.

Purchase of Porsche Connect Services

Visit the Connect Store to find out which Porsche Connect services are available for your car.Select a product to view its details.Select Add to cart.Select Shopping cart in the top right-hand corner.Review your order and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Extension of Porsche Connect Services

Services with a fixed term

Services with a defined end date can be extended 90 days before they expire. You'll be notified about upcoming expirations several times in advance via a notification in My Porsche, an app task list item, as well as email or SMS (depending on your market).

To extend a service:

Go to the Connect Store.Select the product.Select Add to cart.Select Shopping cart in the top right-hand corner.Review your order and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Services with a monthly contract term and automatic renewal

Such subscription services are always automatically extended and no end date is displayed on the My active contracts overview. If you no longer want to use the service, you need to cancel it manually (see below). After cancellation, you can re-purchase the service at any time via the Connect Store.

Services during the inclusive period

The inclusive period ends automatically and does not convert into a paid contract. If you want to continue using the service, you can purchase it up to 90 days before the inclusive period expires or after it has ended. You’ll only be charged once the paid service period begins.

Function on Demand services

Since September 2024 Function on Demand is only offered as a purchase for unlimited time with a one-off payment. Monthly contracts are not available anymore. If you already have a contract with a monthly extension, this will continue to remain active.

Cancellation of Porsche Connect Services

How do I cancel a monthly contract?

You can cancel a monthly contact with automatic renewal as follows:

Go to My active contracts.Select See details to view the contract you want to cancel. Select Cancel contract.Confirm the cancellation in the pop-up window. The service remains active until the end of the current contract period. No further automatic renewal will take place.

When you sell your car and remove it from your Porsche ID, the contract will be cancelled automatically.

What happens if I cancel during the inclusive period?

When you cancel a contract during the inclusive period, it will end at the end of the month. The service will then be deactivated and can no longer be used. You can re-activate the service later without any additional fees. However, please note that the end date of the inclusive period remains unchanged as defined with the initial activation.

Can Function on Demand services be cancelled?

Since September 2024, Function on Demand services are only available as a one-off purchase with unlimited duration. Monthly contracts are no longer offered. Existing contracts with automatic monthly renewal remain active. Function on Demand services purchased for an unlimited period can’t be cancelled, even if you sell your car. The function remains available for the entire lifespan of the car.

How can I exercise my right of withdrawal?

You have the right to withdraw from a service within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which the service is made available to you for use (called the activation day). To withdraw from a service:

Go to My active contracts. Click See details to view the contract you want to withdraw from. Select Withdraw.Confirm the withdrawal in the pop-up window. The contract will terminate immediately, and any payments made will be refunded.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the payment method for a monthly contract (active subscription)?

Go to My active contracts in the Connect Store. Select See details to view the contract you want to update.Select the link Change payment method.Choose your preferred payment option in the next window and follow the on-screen instructions. Select Update to save your changes.

Please note:

You can only change the payment method for contracts with recurring monthly payments. This option isn’t available for contracts with a one-time payment.The change of payment method applies only to the selected contract. To update multiple subscriptions, repeat the steps for each one.

What can I do if a service status remains stuck in ‘Activation still in progress’?

Can I transfer services to my new Porsche?

Porsche Connect services are always assigned to a specific car and can’t be transferred to another car. If you sell your car, the services remain active and can be used by the new owner for the remaining contract period.

Why are the Porsche Connect Services still charged to me even though I no longer own the car?

If you have accepted the automatic extension of the contract when purchasing a service in the Connect Store, the corresponding contract will be extended automatically after the previous contract period has expired.

To avoid further charges – for example, after selling your car – you need to cancel the relevant Porsche Connect contract. Please note that a notice period applies. For more information, see ‘How do I cancel a monthly contract?’ above for details.

When is a newly activated service available in the car?

Activated services are displayed in your car’s Porsche Communication Management (PCM) after the next restart, provided the car is connected to the internet.
