What is the Porsche Security Code?
A security code is required to operate certain functions that allow you to control your car remotely. You can create a four-digit PIN as your security code in My Porsche to ensure enhanced security. This PIN must be entered in the My Porsche app, for example, when you want to remotely unlock your car or activate special Car Security modes.
Additionally, for some models, you’ll need a security code to successfully log in with your Porsche ID in the car (more details).

The vehicle code, currently only available for some models*, is a PIN that serves as an alternative to the security code, protecting data stored in the car. This code cannot be reset. If you lose it and are the main user, you’ll need to reset the PCM to factory settings to regain access to the settings. Secondary users don’t require a reset, as the main user can delete and activate them at any time.
