You can factory reset your Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system to restore it to its original settings. A factory reset deletes all saved settings and personal data.
Below, you’ll find instructions for how to reset the PCM back to its factory settings. After confirming a PCM reset, please wait for the PCM to restart and the welcome page to appear.
Please note that, depending on your car model year, the naming of the click paths below can vary slightly.
Model years 2023-2025
Go to PCM > Home > Set > PCM Display > Factory Settings
Model years 2017-2022
Go to PCM > Vehicle > Settings > Reset > Factory Settings > Yes
Model years 2022-2025
Go to PCM > Settings > System > Reset system to factory settings
Model years 2020-2021
Go to PCM > Car > Control > System > Factory Settings
