How does the Taycan vehicle key work?
The Taycan's key is designed in the shape of a miniature sports car and its button arrangement corresponds to the functions on the vehicle.
Information on emergency unlocking, emergency starting, charging the key and changing the battery can be found in the Owner’s Manual.
Button Functions
The Taycan key features four buttons:
Button 1: Unlock vehicle
Button 2: Lock the vehicle
Button 3: Open the front luggage compartment (frunk) and unlock the vehicle
Button 4: Open the tailgate and unlock the vehicle
