How can I add and manage my cars in My Porsche?

My Porsche is available to drivers of all Porsche models, from classic to all-electric cars.

Once you’ve added your car to My Porsche, you can then use the range of Porsche Connect services (such as Remote Services or online navigation) to their full extent. You'll also be able to control Connect Services (e.g., like precool/heat or sending routes to your car) via the My Porsche app.

Other benefits include access to car data like its mileage, viewing scheduled maintenance appointments and managing the charging process for all-electric cars. It requires a valid Porsche Connect or Connect Care contract (depending on the model), which can be obtained at the Porsche Connect Store. Porsche Connect services are generally available for at least three years for new cars (please note that there are model and country-specific differences).

Adding cars to your Porsche ID

There are three ways to add a car to your Porsche ID:

If you’ve recently purchased a new Porsche car, you’ll receive an invitation email to add it to your Porsche ID 14 days before its delivery. Please follow the instructions to link your car to your Porsche ID. 

Schedule an appointment at your preferred Porsche Centre.Bring your personal ID document (such as driving licence or passport) and registration certificate to the appointment. A Porsche representative will add your car to your Porsche ID profile.You’ll then receive an email with further instructions.

Make sure that you have the following information:  Vehicle Identification Number (VIN): Available in the car’s registration certificate or on the dashboard viewed through the car’s windscreen Proof of identity: Such as an ID card, passport or driver's licence Proof of ownership: Such as the registration certificate  For leasing/company cars: A power of attorney from the leasing company or your employer Open the My Porsche app (Apple App Store/Google Play Store): Go to Home > Add vehicle > Enter VIN. If you already have a car in your app, tap the garage icon in the top right-hand corner of the homepage > Add vehicle > Enter VIN. Follow the instructions to upload the required documents, using the camera function if necessary. Ensure all documents are complete and legible. After submission, your request will be reviewed. Once approved, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete the process. Please note that the link will be valid for 14 days.

Deleting cars

If you sell your Porsche, then you'll need to delete the car from your Porsche ID profile. Deleting the car from the profile will ensure that all active contracts and any existing subscriptions are cancelled, as well as making sure that any automatic renewals are stopped.

Open the My Porsche app (Apple App Store/Google Play Store) (login required) Tap on the Garage icon in the top right-hand cornerTap on the relevant carTap on Remove vehicleSelect the checkbox to confirm that you understand the consequences of deleting the car from your profile and then tap Delete vehicle permanently

Frequently asked questions

Occasionally, after a service or workshop visit to a different Porsche Centre than your usual one, your car can become disconnected from your Porsche ID profile and be no longer visible in My Porsche. If this happens, please contact your Porsche Centre, which can help you link your car to your profile again.   

In all other cases, add the car back into your Porsche ID profile as described above, supplying the required documents.
