How do I use the Lane Change Assist in the Taycan?
The Lane Change Assist supports lane changes by detecting vehicles in the blind spot and traffic approaching quickly from behind. The warning is given via LEDs in the exterior mirrors.

Lane Change Assist
Detects vehicles in the blind spot and traffic approaching quickly from behind.
The LED warning indicator in the exterior mirror operates in two stages:
Information stage:
Without the indicator set, the indicator lights up dimly when a vehicle is detected in the critical area.
Warning stage:
When the indicator is set, the indicator flashes repeatedly with high intensity to warn of a potentially risky lane change. It then reverts to the continuous display.
Individually adjustable in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM):
Path: Car > Assistance > Additional functions > Lane Change Assist
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Assists when reversing out of perpendicular parking spaces by monitoring cross traffic at the rear and warning of potentially critical approaches. Warnings are given visually on the display and acoustically.
Individually adjustable in the PCM:
Path: Car > Assistance > Additional functions > Lane Change Assist
Exit Warning
Warns of traffic approaching from behind when opening the door, for example in city traffic or when parking at the roadside. The warning is displayed visually in the door / interior area and helps to avoid risky situations when exiting the vehicle.
