How do I adjust the Ambient Lighting incl. Communication Light in the Cayenne Electric?
The Cayenne welcomes you with a high-quality lighting experience in the interior. The ambient lighting creates a harmonious atmosphere and is complemented by the communication light.
The communication light is a coloured, animated strip of light around the instrument panel. It is in the peripheral field of vision and provides visual, intuitive feedback on selected vehicle and system functions.

A light sequence welcomes you as you step in and signals that the vehicle is charging whilst it is connected to a power source. The communication light accompanies selected vehicle statuses and actions with subtle, dynamic light animations, thereby enhancing the emotional driving experience.
Beyond aesthetics, the communication light also increases safety by visually highlighting warnings and notifications - such as turning instructions from the navigation system.
In conjunction with driver assistance systems, the communication light can also emit visual warning signals, for example when changing lanes, to indicate vehicles in areas not directly visible.

Settings
The communication light can be individually configured in the PCM or deactivated if required. Individual functional areas can be switched on or off separately.
To access the settings:
Vehicle > Interior > Other settings > ON/OFF Communication light
Here you can, among other things, select colours, zones and brightness levels and adjust them to suit your personal preferences.
