How do I use the passenger display in the Cayenne Electric?

The optional Passenger Display extends the Cayenne’s digital cockpit with a dedicated touchscreen on the passenger side. It offers the front passenger a separate operating area for infotainment, navigation and selected vehicle information.

An integrated Privacy Mode ensures that the content is not visible from the driver's perspective while driving. This allows the front passenger to use media content or compatible applications, for example, without distracting the driver.

Settings

The passenger display has its own settings menu, which operates independently of the central PCM. If the passenger is recognised, the passenger display becomes available automatically.

The settings can be accessed via a cogwheel icon or the corresponding menu item. Options such as brightness, contrast and language can be customised. Personalised settings can be saved in user profiles and reloaded when you log in again. Content and app icons can be individually configured.

Entertainment

The passenger display provides access to compatible entertainment and media services installed via the App Center. Depending on availability, this also includes streaming applications. Media sources such as Apple Music, Spotify, USB or DAB+ can be controlled directly via the display.

The passenger can select playlists, change tracks and navigate between available media sources, independently of operation via the central display.

Cockpit Tile

The “Cockpit” tile shows real-time driving information from the driver's display. This makes sporty moments even more emotional for passengers.

The information displayed includes:
