How do I operate the air conditioning and air quality system in the Cayenne Electric?

The Cayenne Electric features a redesigned climate control panel. It is also new that the climate control system can now be operated via the Flow Display.

The climate control panel is located in the centre console - directly at the bottom edge of the Flow Display. The digital displays are integrated into the surface of the Flow Display, while the climate control buttons are physical. The air vent above the Flow Display and the vertical side vents ensure precise climate control.

Automatic mode can be activated via the control element below the Flow Display and deactivated by adjusting the air volume or air distribution.

Automatic mode can be personalised by switching it on and setting the airflow indicator to “Soft” or “Strong”.

The control panel for managing the vehicle’s climate system is a key element of the Porsche Driver Experience. The haptic feedback of the control surfaces allows you to operate functions without taking your eyes off the road.

The four climate control buttons arranged side by side provide direct access to key functions:

Further climate control settings can be accessed via the separate climate control menu.

You can adjust many settings on the central display, such as:

Switching the entire air conditioning system on/off Switching the cooling function (A/C) on/off Direction and opening of the air vents (the air vents are displayed as a circle, you can tap it and drag it in the desired direction)

The “Rear Seats” menu and the “Preconditioning” menu can also be conveniently accessed here. Similarly, you can adjust the air distribution and temperature for the rear air conditioning, for example.

Tip: You can also control the air conditioning via voice command using the Voice Pilot. For example: “Hey Porsche, set the temperature to 22 degrees.”

Air Quality System (Optional)

The optional Air Quality System continuously monitors air quality inside and outside the Cayenne. It detects elevated levels of fine dust and, in such cases, can automatically switch to recirculation mode. This ensures that the air drawn in is passed through the cabin air filter several times, thereby reducing pollution levels inside the vehicle.

In addition, an ioniser supports the treatment of the cabin air and contributes to a pleasant cabin climate. The current air quality is shown on the central display.
