How to connect Spotify® in your Porsche

You can connect your Spotify® Premium account directly to your Porsche's Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. Once logged in, you can use Spotify in the car without a connected smartphone. 

This article applies to:

911 model years 2022-present

Cayenne model years 2022-present

Panamera model years 2022-present

Macan Electric model years 2024-present

Taycan model years 2022-present

Requirements  

Before setting up, ensure you have: 

Active Porsche Connect services An active data connection in the vehicle A Spotify Premium subscription 

Spotify set-up

When setting up Spotify for your car, you will need to link your Spotify account to your Porsche ID. You can do this via the PCM in the car or via the My Porsche app.

Please note: For the Macan Electric, Spotify needs to be installed first via the App Center in your PCM:

Home > App Center > Tap the Search Icon > Type in Spotify > Install

After the installation Spotify will be integrated in the Media tile of your PCM and can be selected as audio source there. You can find more information in Macan Electric: How to manage apps in the App Center.

Go to Home > Media > Play > Spotify. If you don’t see Spotify, go to Home > Media > Play > … > Spotify Use your smartphone to scan the displayed QR code Log in to Spotify when redirected to the website Once you have successfully logged in, your Spotify account will be linked 

Open the My Porsche app on your phone (Apple® App Store® /Google Play™)Go to Vehicle Details, then tap Functions Tap PCM services and scroll to Spotify Tap Link Spotify account, then log in when redirected to the Spotify website Once you have successfully logged in, your Spotify account will be linked 

Using Spotify in Your Porsche 

To access Spotify in your Porsche, go to: 

Home > Media > Play > Spotify
