How to set the security code

The Porsche security code allows you to operate your vehicle remotely via Remote Services in the My Porsche app.
This article applies to the following models
911 model years 2022 - present
Macan Electric model years 2024 - present
Panamera model years 2022 - present
Taycan model years 2020 - present

When changing the security code, security-relevant services will be temporarily blocked. To reactivate, enable remote access automation in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM), then pair the My Porsche app with your vehicle again.
If you forget your security code, you’ll need to reset it, which also requires a PCM factory reset, deleting previous settings. Reset steps:

The vehicle code, currently for the Macan Electric only, is a four-digit PIN alternative to the security code, protecting data stored in the car. This code cannot be reset. If lost, access to settings requires a PCM Factory reset.
