What is the vehicle code used for?

The vehicle code, currently for the Macan Electric only, is a four-digit PIN alternative to the security code, protecting data stored in the car. This code cannot be reset. If lost, access to settings requires a PCM Factory reset.

To set the vehicle code in PCM:

Settings > Security (enter your security code if set) Select Set vehicle code Enter the new code and click OK

The security code is the primary authentication for certain remote services in the My Porsche app, like the Unlock feature.
