To access the full range of benefits of Porsche Connect services, you need to log into your car’s Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system with your Porsche ID. Ensure the following requirements are met:

Your Porsche ID account is set up.

Your car has an active data connection.

Privacy Mode is turned off.

Porsche Connect Services are activated.

When logging into the PCM, ensure your Porsche ID and password are entered correctly, keeping in mind that they are case-sensitive. These credentials are the same ones used to log into My Porsche.

Note that button descriptions may vary slightly depending on your car’s model and model year.

Before you begin

Before logging in, gather the following information based on your car model:

Pairing Code: Found in the My Porsche app. Required for 718, Macan, and most models up through model year 2021.

Porsche ID and Password: Required for most models.

Security Code: Set in My Porsche for following models:

- Taycan model years 2020 – present

- Cayenne model years 2022 – present

- 911 model years 2022 – present

- Panamera model years 2022 - present

Logging into Your vehicle

Depending on your model and model year, there are different ways to log in. Select your model below and follow the instructions for the relevant model year.

718 

Model Years 2016-2025:

Ensure you have your pairing code ready, which you can find in the My Porsche app. For more details, please refer to the section below titled "What is a pairing code and how do I get one?"

Push the HOME button.

Select  Apps.

Push the OPTIONS button.

Select Login Porsche Connect.

Select  Create New User.

Enter the pairing code.

911

From model year 2027

If you enabled ’Comfort Vehicle Login’ during the initial enrollment in the My Porsche app, you will be automatically logged in when you enter your car.

If you haven’t activated ‘Comfort Vehicle Login” you can also do this at a later stage in the app:

Open the My Porsche app on your phone.

If you have more than one car, tap on your car’s name and then select the correct one.

Scroll down and tap Vehicle Management.

Tap Comfort Vehicle Login.

If you don’t use ‘Comfort Vehicle Login’, refer to the instructions for model year 2025 below.

Model Year 2025-2026:

Ensure you have your mobile phone, Porsche ID, password, and security code.

Scan the QR code under Settings > Accounts > Add New Account in the PCM, or enter credentials directly.

Model Years 2022-2024:

Ensure you have your Porsche ID, password, and security code.

Enter your Porsche ID and password under Settings > Accounts > Create Account.

Model Years 2020-2021:

Ensure you have your pairing code ready, which you can find in the My Porsche app. For more details, please refer to the section below titled "What is a pairing code and how do I get one?"

Access Apps in the PCM.

Tap the Options icon.

Go to Porsche ID Settings.

Enter the pairing code.

Model Years 2017-2019:

Ensure you have your pairing code ready, which you can find in the My Porsche app. For more details, please refer to the section below titled "What is a pairing code and how do I get one?"

Push the HOME button.

Select Apps.

Push the OPTIONS button.

Select Login Porsche Connect.

Select Create New User.

Enter the pairing code.

Taycan

From model year 2027

If you enabled ’Comfort Vehicle Login’ during the initial enrollment in the My Porsche app, you will be automatically logged in when you enter your car.

With your mobile phone, scan the QR code displayed in the PCM under Settings > Accounts > Add new account. Alternatively, you can enter your Porsche ID and password to log in.

Model years 2020-2023

Make sure you have the following ready:

Your Porsche ID and password

The security code that you defined in My Porsche

Enter your Porsche ID and password in the PCM under Settings > Accounts > Set up account.

Panamera

From model year 2027

Model years 2022-2024 (2nd generation)

Model Year 2018-2021:

Access Apps in the PCM.

Tap the Options icon.

Go to Porsche ID Settings.

Link a new Porsche ID by entering the pairing code.

Model Year 2017:

Ensure you have your pairing code ready, which you can find in the My Porsche app. For more details, please refer to the section below titled "What is a pairing code and how do I get one?"

Access Apps in the PCM.

Tap the Options icon.

Select Login > Link New Porsche ID and enter the pairing code.

Macan

Model Years 2019-2026:

Ensure you have your pairing code ready, which you can find in the My Porsche app. For more details, please refer to the section below titled "What is a pairing code and how do I get one?"

Access Apps in the PCM.

Tap the Options icon.

Go to Porsche ID Settings > Link New Porsche ID and enter the pairing code.

Model Years 2016-2018:

Push the HOME button.

Select Apps.

Cayenne

From model year 2027

Enter your Porsche ID and password under Settings > Accounts > Create Account.

Model Years 2018-2021:

Ensure you have your pairing code ready, which you can find in the My Porsche app. For more details, please refer to the section below titled "What is a pairing code and how do I get one?"

Access Apps in the PCM.

Tap the Options icon.

Go to Porsche ID Settings.

Model Years 2016-2017:

Push the HOME button.

Select Apps.

Push the OPTIONS button.

Select Login Porsche Connect > Create New User and enter the pairing code.

What is a pairing code and how do I get one?

The pairing code links your car to your Porsche ID in the PCM, enabling you to use Connect services via the My Porsche app. Here's to find the pairing code in the app.

Open the My Porsche app

If you have more than one car, tap on your car’s name and then select the correct one.

Tap Vehicle details below your car’s name.

Tap pairing code is displayed under the VIN [Vehicle Identification Number]
