How do I cancel a Porsche Connect service?
To cancel a service, you will need to follow these steps:
Go to the My Active Contracts overview. Click on Cancel contract for the contract you wish to cancel. Confirm the cancellation in the subsequent pop-up window. When you sell your car and remove it from your Porsche ID, the contract will be cancelled automatically.
If you cancel a contract during the inclusive period, you can re-activate the service later without any additional fees. However, please note that the end date of the inclusive period remains unchanged as defined with the initial activation.
Please note that since September 2024, Function on Demand is only offered as a purchase for unlimited time with a one-off-payment. Monthly contracts are not available anymore. If you already have a contract with monthly extension, this will continue to remain active.
If you’ve purchased a Function on Demand service for an unlimited period, you cannot cancel it if you sell your car. The function remains valid for the entire lifespan of the vehicle.
How can I exercise my right of withdrawal?
You have the right to cancel a service within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which the service is made available to you for use (called the Activation day). To cancel the service, you can do so in writing by sending an email to smartmobility@porsche.co.uk.
