How do I use Surround View including Active Parking Support in the Taycan?
Adds a high-resolution 360° surround view and an automated parking function to the standard ParkAssist front and rear incl. reversing camera. The systems provide support with visual and acoustic warnings as well as automatic camera activation.
Surround View including Active Parking Support includes the functions 3D Surround View, Active Parking Assistance and Manoeuvring Assist.

3D Surround View
Four cameras in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) generate a 3D perspective view of the vehicle's surroundings. The view can be rotated and customised to improve all-round visibility.
Active Parking Assistance
The system recognises suitable parking spaces, measures them and can take over steering and driving forwards and backwards after your confirmation. Longitudinal and perpendicular parking spaces are supported. You monitor the process and can intervene at any time.
Manoeuvring Assist
This helps when manoeuvring in confined spaces. If the system detects an obstacle, it intervenes within the system limits to prevent collisions.
Operation
Surround View is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
Alternatively, the system can be activated manually via Parking > Show Surroundings.
The desired camera perspective (e.g. front, rear or side view) is selected directly in the central display using the view icons.
Configuration
Settings are made in the PCM via the Parking tile. Among other things, the sound output of the Parking Assistant can be configured here.
