Remote Support is a digital service that enables your Porsche Centre to diagnose your car remotely and, for selected issues, resolve the problem directly without a workshop visit.
Your benefits
Remote Support is included in your Porsche Connect Services. Before using the service, make sure the following prerequisites are met:
Remote Support can be used to diagnose most technical faults within the car. In such a case:
Note: Your car should be parked safely during the session. You don’t need to remain inside - your car will stay active during the process. If any requirements aren’t yet met, they’ll be displayed in the PCM at the time of interaction.
If your issue can't be resolved remotely, your Porsche Centre will use the collected diagnostic data to prepare the next steps. You’ll then be offered a workshop appointment at a convenient time, already optimally planned based on this information.
Remote Support can also be used without an active warranty. However, costs may apply for cars outside warranty. Please contact your Porsche Centre for details.
You don’t need to stay inside your car. You can exit and lock it, provided it is in ‘P’. During the session, your car will remain active while the technician performs the required actions. Charging is also possible during the session.
Yes. Access to your car only takes place with your explicit consent in the PCM. Data is used solely for diagnostics and service purposes in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
If the connection is interrupted, the session may stop. Your Porsche Centre will inform you of the next steps and, if needed, arrange a new session or a workshop appointment.
Yes. You remain in control and can withdraw your consent at any time via the top left cross in the PCM, which will end the session.
