How do I use the Night Vision Assist in the Taycan?

The optional Night Vision Assist displays an infrared thermal image in the instrument cluster in the dark, extending the field of vision beyond the range of the headlights. People and larger wild animals can be recognised and highlighted in the image.

Function

If a hazard is detected, the system issues an acoustic and visual warning in the instrument cluster. The recognised person or animal is highlighted in red in the image. In combination with the LED matrix main headlights (PDLS Plus), recognised persons can be highlighted with an additional marker light to improve perception.

Settings

Switch on/off and change settings in the PCM:

Car > Assistance > Additional functions > Night View Assist
