Vehicle locking and unlocking via the My Porsche app

Before using this function, please ensure that:

Remote access authorisation has been enabled in your Porsche Communication Management (PCM). More details below

You have stable internet connection in your car and on your phone

You have the security code you defined in My Porsche

To lock/unlock your car:

Go to the My Porsche app

On the home screen tap the lock icon (see screen below)

Tap Locking or Unlocking

Confirm that you are aware that using the remote unlocking feature can allow unauthorised access to your car

Enter the security code that you set in My Porsche. You can also optionally link your Face ID with the security code and conveniently use this function in future via Face ID authentication. To do this, go to Account > Settings > Security in the app. Here you can activate and set up Face ID.

Once the car is unlocked, the car status icon on the home screen turns black. When locked, the icon is green

Please note: for cars with Car Connect (provided by Vodafone) only the lock function is available.
