How can I add and manage my vehicles in My Porsche?

My Porsche is available to drivers of all Porsche models, from classic to all-electric cars.

This article applies to all models 

With My Porsche, once you add your car to your Porsche ID account, you can access services like mileage and location tracking, scheduling service appointments and managing charging for electric vehicles. These services require a valid Porsche Connect or Connect Care contract, available at the Porsche Connect Store. For new cars, Porsche Connect services are generally included for ten years, though availability may vary by model.  

Adding vehicles to your Porsche ID 

If you’ve recently purchased a new Porsche car, you’ll receive an invitation email to add it to your Porsche ID before taking delivery. Please follow the instructions to link your car to your Porsche ID.

Schedule an appointment at your preferred Porsche Center.Bring your personal ID document (such as driver's license or passport) and registration certificate to the appointment.A Porsche representative will add your car to your Porsche ID profile.You’ll then receive an email with further instructions

Make sure that you have the following information: A: Vehicle Identification Number (VIN): Available in the car’s registration certificate or on the dashboard viewed through the car’s windscreen B: Proof of identity: Such as an ID card, passport or driver's license C: Proof of ownership: Such as the registration certificate D: For leasing/company cars: A power of attorney from the leasing company or your employer Open the My Porsche app (Apple App Store/Google Play Store): Go to Home > Add vehicle > Enter VIN. If you already have a car in your app, tap your car’s name at the top of the home screen > tap + Add in the layer that appears > Enter your VIN and follow the instructions. Follow the instructions to upload the required documents, using the camera function if necessary. Ensure all documents are complete and legible. After submission, your request will be reviewed. Once approved, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete the process. Please note that the link will be valid for 14 days.

Deleting vehicles

When selling your Porsche, delete it from your Porsche ID profile to cancel all active contracts and stop any automatic renewals:   

Log into the My Porsche app If you have more than one car, tap on your car’s name and then select the correct one. Scroll down on the home screen and tap Vehicle Management. Select the vehicle and tap  Remove vehicle Confirm you understand the consequences, then tap  Delete vehicle permanently 

Occasionally, after a service or workshop visit to a different Porsche Center than your usual one, your car can become disconnected from your Porsche ID profile and be no longer visible in My Porsche. If this happens, please contact your Porsche Center, which can help you link your car to your profile again.  In all other cases, add the car back into your Porsche ID profile as described above, supplying the required documents.
