Every Porsche plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicle comes with a mobile charger capable of providing up to 40A of charging to your vehicle. Customers who wish to upgrade to 80A charging can purchase the Porsche Wall Charger Connect from the Porsche Shop.

1. Porsche Charging Pre-Check
The installation of domestic charging equipment can be considered a structural change. We recommend that you use the Porsche recommended home installation partner and coordinate with all parties involved before installation; for example, these might include your electricity supplier, municipal authorities or housing community and, if necessary, your landlord. 2. Home-Check
During the Porsche Home-Check, the property’s electrical infrastructure is inspected by our recommended service partners in order to find the best charging solution for you. The service partners will also create a cost estimate for you to ensure transparent pricing when installing Porsche charging hardware. It will also give you basic information about the installation and administrative process when setting up home charging.

3. Installation and configuration of home charging hardware
An infrastructure upgrade will need to be carried out to ensure that the electrical installation at the location is suitable for the requirements of the charging hardware. The charging hardware needs to be professionally installed in order to ensure a safe and reliable power supply.
The home charging hardware will also need to be configured and commissioned so that its functions are ready to use and adapted to a customer’s individual needs.
