How can I link my Porsche ID with my car?

This article applies to:

911 from model years 2025 - present

Taycan from model years 2025 - present

Panamera from model years 2025 - present

Macan Electric from model years 2024 - present

Cayenne from model years 2025 - present

Cayenne Electric from model years 2026 - present

What is the model year of my Porsche?

To access the full range of benefits of Porsche Connect services, you need to log into your car’s Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system with your Porsche ID. Ensure the following requirements are met: 

Your Porsche ID account is set up. Your car has an active data connection. Privacy Mode is turned off. Porsche Connect Services are activated. 

When logging into the PCM, ensure your Porsche ID and password are entered correctly, keeping in mind that they are case-sensitive. These credentials are the same ones used to log into My Porsche.  

Note that button descriptions may vary slightly depending on your car’s model and model year. 

Logging into Your Vehicle  

General Instructions: Before logging in, gather the following information based on your car model: 

Porsche ID and Password: Required for most models. Security Code:  Set in My Porsche for following models:Taycan from model years 2025 - presentCayenne from model years 2025 - present911 from model years 2025 - presentPanamera from model years 2025 - present

Log in to the vehicle

Not available in Puerto Rico

From Model Year 2025:

Ensure you have your mobile phone, Porsche ID, password, and security code. Scan the QR code under  Settings > Accounts > Add New Account in the PCM, or enter credentials directly. 

From Model Year 2025: 

Ensure you have your cell phone, Porsche ID, password, and security code. Scan the QR code under Settings > Accounts > Add New Account in the PCM, or enter credentials directly. 

From Model Years 2025 (3rd Generation): 

Ensure you have your cell phone, Porsche ID, password, and security code. Scan the QR code under  Settings > Accounts > Add New Account  in the PCM, or enter credentials directly. 

Cayenne Electric & Macan Electric from Model Years 2024:

Ensure you have your cell phone, Porsche ID, password, and security code. Scan the QR code in the PCM for automatic login or enter credentials directly. 

From Model Year 2025:

Ensure you have your cell phone, Porsche ID, password, and security code. Scan the QR code under  Settings > Accounts > Add New Account  in the PCM, or enter credentials directly.
