The Porsche Charging Service

Depending on the charge point operator, you might notice price differences when charging your EV (charge point providers vary according by region). Most charging point operators charge different prices for AC and DC charging stations. Additionally, some public charging stations apply dynamic pricing, meaning the cost per kilowatt rises during peak hours when demand is high.

The Porsche Charging Service (Plus) provides an extensive network with more than 750,000 charging points across Europe and offers a simplified pricing model. This means that AC and DC charging prices are set at a national level across all affiliated charging points. As a Porsche Charging Service customer, you won’t be affected by price changes based on peak times or different charge point operators.

When buying a new fully electric or hybrid Porsche, you get a subscription to the Porsche Charging Service for up to three years. Once that expires, you can choose between two subscription models:

Porsche Charging Service (suitable for sporadic public charging) Porsche Charging Service Plus (suitable for frequent public charging)

Detailed pricing information for the Porsche Charging Service can be found here.

Charge at home when possible

While public charging is convenient, it’s often more expensive compared to home charging. The significant long-term savings from installing a home charger make it a worthwhile investment for EV owners.

A home wallbox might charge your car at lower electricity costs. Plus, some countries even offer government incentives or tax deductions for EV owners installing home chargers. Find more information about our Porsche Wallbox here.
