The Porsche Charging Lounges are an exclusive premium public charging experience for Porsche customers. Located on certain main traffic routes, they offer fast public charging stations that are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as giving access to a premium lounge.

These premium lounges feature washrooms, refreshments, free Wi-Fi, 24/7 security and a variety of options that will allow you to continue your onward journey feeling as relaxed as possible.

How can I find a Porsche Charging Lounge?

The Porsche Charging Lounges can be found as a destination in the navigation system of the vehicle or in the My Porsche app.

For mobile access, open the My Porsche app on your phone. If you have more than one car in the app, swipe to select the correct one. Scroll down on the home screen and tap the Porsche Charging Lounge section.

How do I access a Porsche Charging Lounge?

How do I access the Porsche Charging Lounges?

To gain access to a Porsche Charging Lounge with its charging stations and premium lounge area, you will need a Porsche ID and your Porsche must be added to your My Porsche account. See How can I manage my vehicles in My Porsche? for more details.

When you reach the barrier of a Porsche Charging Lounge you have a range of different options in order to enter:

If you have saved your licence plate in your My Porsche account, the barrier will open automatically using licence plate recognition. To enter your car’s licence plate in My Porsche:

Open the My Porsche app (login required)

Tap Vehicle details

Tap Functions

Scroll down to Porsche Charging Lounge and tap on it

Then scroll down to licence plate access and click Manage licence plate

Enter your licence plate (without spaces or hyphens) in the field below the car image and click Save

You can also access the barrier by tapping a valid Porsche Charging Card, or the Porsche crest keyring, on the card reader situated on the barrier pedestal.

Another way of accessing the Porsche Charging Lounge is by using the QR code on the My Porsche app:

Open the My Porsche app (login required)

Tap Vehicle details

Tap Functions

Scroll to Porsche Charging Lounge and tap on it

A QR code will be displayed

Hold this QR code against the reader on the barrier pedestal

Gain access to the Porsche Charging Lounge by using your Porsche Charging Card, Porsche crest keyring or My Porsche app.

If none of the above methods work and you are still unable to gain access to the Porsche Charging Lounge, press the call button on the barrier pedestal to reach our support team. They are available 24/7.

To access the lounge, you can either use your Porsche Charging Card or the QR code in the My Porsche app (see the above information about Access via My Porsche app to find out how to get the QR code).

If you encounter any issues entering the lounge, press the button on the entrance terminal to speak directly to our customer service (details below) who can assist you in entering the lounge.

When charging your car, the Porsche Charging Service can be used, which allows for convenient invoicing by Porsche. To authenticate and pay at the charge points you can use:

Alternatively, you can also use a direct payment option to charge your Porsche.

Payment for the vending and coffee machines can be made via debit card, credit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay. Unfortunately, payments via the Porsche Charging Card are not possible.
