Porsche Vehicle Key

The Macan’s vehicle key has been redesigned and features a new button layout. The button positions are now based on the location of the corresponding function on the vehicle, and this layout is reflected logically on the key – which is styled in the shape of a miniature sports car.

For information about emergency unlocking, emergency start, key charging, and battery replacement, please refer to the Owner’s Manual.

Good to Know: New Control Logic

Please note: With the all-electric Macan, Porsche introduces a revised button configuration. The functions “Unlock vehicle” and “Open front luggage compartment” have been changed compared to previous models.

Drivers familiar with the former layout may unintentionally open the frunk or tailgate. If the vehicle is parked close to a wall, under a low ceiling, or near an obstacle, this could result in damage to the vehicle or its surroundings.
