How do I update my navigation maps online?
The online map update feature in your Porsche* enables the navigation system’s map data to be updated automatically via an internet connection, so you don’t need to visit a Porsche Centre. This ensures that the navigation maps are always current, reflecting new roads, changes in traffic patterns, and updated points of interest. It helps you benefit from the latest navigation information for more accurate route planning.
*Please note that the online map update is not available for all Porsche models. For some models, you may need to visit your Porsche Centre to perform the map update. Below, you'll find information specific to your car.

Frequently asked questions
When updating offline at a Porsche Centre, you get the complete map data. Online updates are broken down into regions, which can be as large as entire countries (like Finland) or parts of countries (for example, Germany is split into four regions). With active Connect Services, your navigation map data is continuously updated in the region you travel in most frequently, whether or not you use route guidance.
If the connection drops, the update will resume automatically once your car is back online.
No, offline updates only add new data for regions that haven’t been updated online. If you’ve already updated a region online, the offline update won’t replace it with older data.
When your map data is updated online, the update is applied to the area you’re currently in and the surrounding regions. When you travel to other areas, the map data for those regions is updated automatically. Please note that these regions don’t necessarily correspond to local states, provinces or other political boundaries.
If you want a complete map update, for example for the whole of Europe, please contact your local Porsche Centre for more details.
You can report missing places or addresses directly to the map data provider, HERE. This can be done, for example, by sending an email to appsupport@here.com or by using the feedback function in the HERE WeGo app. You can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
