What is the My Porsche app?

The My Porsche app (Apple App Store/Google Play Store) is the digital gateway for your Porsche experience. It allows you to easily interact with your Porsche and provides you with all the important information about your car and the Porsche brand. My Porsche is available for all models.

The My Porsche app offers has the following functions:

View vehicle status and information such as current battery status/fuel level and remaining range and charge time, mileage, tyre pressures and trip data from previous journeys.Remotely control your Porsche You can control certain functions remotely, like precool/heat, locking and unlocking as well as setting location alarms or speed alarms.Set navigation You can plan your routes remotely thanks to features like being able to save destinations as favourites, sending destinations to your car, help finding charging stations and also a route planner that includes charging stops.Manage charging You can manage and control car charging with features like the Charging Timer as well as authenticating at public charging stations. With the Porsche Charging Service you can view information about charging stations, as well as prices and your charging history.Receive service and safety notifications Arrange a service appointment online or receive important information about workshop appointments, operating instructions and also report any breakdowns.Discover Porsche The app you also allows you to receive exclusive information about Porsche.

You can change the language either in your smartphone’s settings for the My Porsche app or by adjusting the general language settings of your smartphone.

To ensure that the My Porsche app functions flawlessly, please make sure you have a stable internet connection and update the app to the latest version.

You can also request help in the app. By shaking your phone, you can call up the Report a bug function and send your feedback directly to our customer service team. Please note, you need to be logged into the My Porsche app to use the function.

To report a bug

Shake your phone while you are on the screen with the issue. A support form will appear on screen. Type in the description of the issue – please be as detailed as possible, adding information about the frequency of the issue and the first time the issue occurred. A screenshot of the last page is automatically added as an attachment, which you can view by clicking on the picture icon.For us to better understand how the issue occurred, previous screens will also be sent. To review these screens click Edit list. You can then also remove screens by clicking the rubbish bin icon. In addition, you have the option to create a screen recording. Or you can take additional screenshots yourself or select screenshots you have already taken from your photo gallery. To send your feedback, click the red Send icon in the top right-hand corner of the form.

Your reported bug will then be reviewed and we will get in touch with you regarding the resolution or to ask further questions.

The good to know app is integrated into the My Porsche app and you can find the owner's manual for your registered vehicle there, if it is available digitally. You also have access to owner's manuals for various Porsche models via the Good to know – Owner’s Manual website.
