You can find your Porsche Charging Service contract in the My Porsche app. Here you can make changes to your existing contract, cancel it, renew it or sign a new one. You can also see when your contract expires or whether it’ll be automatically renewed.
All BEVs and PHEVs.
Keep in mind that when you buy a new Porsche hybrid or all-electric vehicle, you automatically receive access to the Charging Service Plus plan for up to three years. During this period, you don’t have to pay the monthly subscription fee and only need to cover the cost of electricity. For more information on pricing, please visit the price list.
At the end of the three-year period, you’ll receive a notification prompting you to either renew your contract, switch to a different plan or cancel.
If you’ve never used the Porsche Charging Service before, follow these simple steps to activate it:
1. Open the My Porsche app on your phone.
2. Tap Account (person icon in the bottom navigation bar) > Charging Service or alternatively tap the document icon on the home screen.

3. Tap on Activate Charging Service.
4. You will be forwarded to a mobile optimised website. Tap Continue.
5. You’ll see the pricing options available for your vehicle. Tap on Proceed with activation.
6. Activate a charging plan by adding your billing address and preferred payment method.
7. Agree on the General Terms and Conditions.
8. Confirm your order.
Your Porsche Charging Service subscription is now activated. You'll receive your personal Porsche Charging Card within the next 10 days. Alternatively, you can use your My Porsche app to authenticate yourself at one of our charging stations. For more information on the Charging Card, please visit How to get a new Porsche Charging Card.
When your Porsche Charging Service contract runs out, you’ll receive a notification either in your My Porsche app, via e-mail or text message (depending on your country of residence). You can also check when your contract expires in the My Porsche app.
To extend your Charging Service subscription:
The Porsche Charging Service offers you several subscription plans with different prices, which you can choose according to your needs. Once your initial free Charging Service contract has expired, you’ll have the opportunity to switch monthly between the regular Porsche Charging Service plan and the Porsche Charging Service Plus plan.
The difference between the two plans is in the monthly fee and the electricity price. For more information on pricing, please visit the price list.
To switch plans:
Before you choose one of the listed Porsche Charging Service options within the contract activation process, a link to the Terms of Use and the General Terms and Conditions is provided to you. In addition, once you’ve signed the contract, you’ll receive a confirmation email which also contains the Terms of Use and the General Terms and Conditions. You can always go back to this email and review them.
Charging stations often set a maximum charging time for cars to ensure that charging points are promptly released after use, maintaining availability for other users. If this time is exceeded, a blocking fee may apply.
By using the Porsche Charging Service, you accept the charging conditions outlined in the Terms of Use and the Porsche Charging Service Price List. This includes the blocking fee for exceeding the maximum charging duration allowed. Once your car has reached the desired charging level, we recommend ending the session and moving your car to avoid unnecessary fees.
Depending on the selected charging point, blocking fees are applied as follows:
Charging points from Preferred Partners, including Porsche Sales & Marketplace (f. e. participating Porsche Dealerships), Porsche Charging Lounges, Porsche Factory, IONITY, Audi Charging Hubs, Aral pulse in Germany (until 31.08.2026), Iberdrola in Spain & Portugal (until 21.12.2028) and Zunder in Spain & France (until 31.12.2026), GOFAST in Switzerland (until 14.07.2026), Eldrive in Lithuania & Bulgaria (until 31.12.2026) and Fines Charging in Bulgaria (until 31.12.2026), are exempt from blocking fees.
Blocking fees only apply between 08:00 and 23:59 and only after six hours (360 minutes) of charging time. This regulation is valid until 31.12.2026.
Blocking fees apply after 60 minutes of charging time.
