Frequently Asked Questions

There are a number of reasons why your car may not fully charge when using home charging:

If you’ve previously configured your charging profile by using, for example, a timer to charge a specific battery percentage, it may hinder the vehicle from continuing to charge beyond that point. If this happens, check the charging settings in your car or the My Porsche app. The charging process may also be influenced by the available charging infrastructure. Factors include a potential lack of internet connection, which can affect communication. If this happens, check your internet connection and restart the process. The car’s battery management system may also be prioritising battery health. This will cause it to automatically optimise the charging process.

In any of these above instances, it’s recommended that you review your settings and consult a technician if needed. You can check the Driver’s Manual for more information.
