Direct Access via Driver Assistance Control Lever (FAS Lever)

The Driver Assistance Control Lever (FAS Lever) highlighted on the steering wheel inside the Macan.

The Driver Assistance Control Lever (FAS Lever) on the steering wheel is the central control unit for key driver assistance systems, such as the Adaptive Cruise Control and Active Lane Guidance. It is located beneath the left steering wheel spoke, allowing for easy operation while driving.

Any changes made using the lever are shown clearly in the instrument cluster. Using the Mode button, assistance features can be accessed directly via pop-up menus in the instrument cluster and subsequently in the PCM.

A detailed guide to operating the FAS lever can be found  here.

Configuration

In the PCM, driver assistance systems can be enabled or disabled: PCM > Vehicle > Assistance Systems

Many settings are stored in your Porsche ID profile and automatically loaded when entering the vehicle. Other systems (e.g., Speed Warning) may automatically reactivate at the start of each drive.

Tip: Watch our Spot-On video on how to disable the speed warning.
