Porsche Destination Charging is an exclusive global charging network at luxury destinations. Destination guests who are drivers of Porsche electric or plug-in hybrid cars can charge here for free. What are the benefits of Porsche Destination Charging?

There are a number of benefits you receive as a Porsche customer when using Porsche Destination Charging:

Destination Charging offers reliable charging solutions in destinations of high relevance for Porsche customers, less need for charging on outward and return trips and a convenient way to locate a charging point during your stay.Destination guests who are drivers of Porsche electric or plug-in hybrid cars can charge for free at any venue with Porsche Destination Charging (for non-Porsche drivers, an additional fee may apply).Charging speed for cars range from 11-22 kW, which means that it’s possible to fully charge a car overnight.

How do I find a Porsche Charging Destination?

You can find a Porsche Charging Destination using your My Porsche app or by using the navigation section of your car’s Porsche Communication Management system. Further information can also be found online at porsche.com/destinationcharging

Tap on the map on the home screen Tap on the charging station icon  Tap the filter icon and select Porsche Destination Charging. This will filter information so that only Porsche Destination Chargers will appear on the map 

Alternatively, you can also type Porsche Destination Charging or the name of your preferred destination charging station into the search bar. 

After selecting your destination, you can send the location to your car by tapping the button to send destination to vehicle

Tap on the Homescreen on Navigation > type in Porsche Destination Charging into the search bar  All partner Porsche Destination Charging locations will be then displayed for you to choose from To find Porsche Destination Charging stations nearby, you can activate your location settings in advance

To charge with your Charging Card (RFID card) simply hold it up to the RFID reader on the front of the charger To charge using your preferred Mobility Service Provider app, locate the relevant charger in the app then activate the charging session by clicking on the respective charger and following the instructions provided

Download the My Porsche app. No account or log in is required On the Map tab, tap the QR code scan icon. Use your camera to scan the QR code on the side of the charger Follow the on-screen instructions in order to begin charging

If you are a Porsche driver and a guest at the destination, you will be able to charge your all-electric or plug-in hybrid Porsche free of charge using Porsche Destination Charging. You can also use the charging hardware if you are a non-Porsche customer. However, this is likely to require you to pay a fee for its use. In general, charging is for destination guests only.

The Porsche Destination Charging Wallboxes or Pedestals used at locations have a maximum charging power of 11kW or 22kW (AC) and a permanently integrated 4.5-metre charging cable with a type-2 charging plug for quick charging.

Officially branded Porsche signage will help you locate the charging wallbox or pedestal when you reach the charging destination.

The chargers are compatible with most electric and hybrid vehicles. For 22kW wallboxes or pedestals, full charge can be achieved in around five hours.
