How to connect the My Porsche app to your vehicle

Step 1

Create a Porsche ID. You can find out how here.

Add your Porsche to your Porsche ID account. Details on how to do this can be found here.

Activate Porsche Connect Services. Discover how to do it here.

Step 4

Download the My Porsche app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 5

Link your car with your Porsche ID in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system. Depending on your vehicle and software version, there are different ways to do this.

Grant remote access. This is done automatically the first time you log in to the PCM on the following models:

Ensure that privacy mode is turned off. Find out how to do this here.

Then log in to your My Porsche app. You will now see your car on the My Porsche app and be able to use the Connect and Charging functions with your car.

The availability of app functions depends on your Porsche, its model year, what equipment your car has and the availability of that function in your country. Check the Porsche Connect Store for more details and prices specific to your car.
