Ambient Lighting incl. Communication Light
Your new Macan welcomes you with a captivating lighting experience. The ambient lighting not only creates a pleasant atmosphere but also interacts with you – via the Communication Light. This is a colored, animated light strip featuring 56 LEDs that stretches across the dashboard from door to door. Positioned in your peripheral field of vision, it provides functional feedback in a visually intuitive way.

Functions
Whether during charging or entry, you are welcomed with a special lighting sequence. The system also highlights signature Porsche moments: For instance, when switching to Sport Plus mode or activating Launch Control, the Communication Light presents a dynamic light animation that heightens the emotional driving experience.
Beyond aesthetics, the Communication Light also enhances safety by visually emphasizing alerts and notifications - such as turn instructions from the navigation system.
During lane changes, it works in conjunction with the Lane Change Assist to warn you of vehicles in your blind spot through visual signals.

Settings
The Ambient Lighting including Communication Light can be individually configured or deactivated in the PCM. Specific function groups can be activated or deactivated separately.
You can access the Communication Light settings in the PCM: Vehicle > Comfort
There you will also find a range of colors, zones and brightness levels that can be tailored to your preferences.
