Porsche home charging provides personalised high-performance charging solutions, allowing you to charge your car battery conveniently at home 24/7.
For charging at home, different Porsche charging equipment is available to you. You can find an overview of the available Porsche charging equipment in the Porsche Shop or in the Porsche Accessories Finder under the relevant vehicle models.

To achieve the best charging at home experience, you will need to do the following:
The installation of domestic charging equipment can be considered a structural change. We recommend that you use the Porsche recommended home installation partner and coordinate with all parties involved before installation; these might include, for example, your electricity supplier, municipal authorities or housing community and, if required, your landlord. Further information is also available from your Porsche Centre.
During the Porsche Home-Check, the property’s electrical infrastructure is inspected by our recommended service partners in order to find the best charging solution for you. The service partners will also create a cost estimate for you to ensure transparent pricing when installing Porsche charging hardware. It will also give you basic information about the installation and administrative process when setting up home charging.

An infrastructure upgrade will need to be carried out to ensure that the electrical installation at the location is suitable for the requirements of the charging hardware.
The charging hardware needs to be professionally installed in order to ensure a safe and reliable power supply.
The home charging hardware will also need to be configured and commissioned so that its functions are ready to use and adapted to a customer’s individual needs.

Your access data letter includes your preset PIN and initial password. If you lose this letter, you can retrieve this information from your My Porsche profile. Alternatively, you can also reach out to your Porsche Partner for assistance.

You can charge your Porsche both at domestic and public charging outlets. In order to charge with the greatest possible efficiency and shortest duration, public charging units often have the fastest charging speeds.

To remove a charging plug from your car if it is stuck, you will need to unlock the vehicle and the plug. To do so, press the Release button next to the charging socket. The green light indicating an active charging process will disappear and you can then securely remove the charging plug from the car.
When using Porsche charging hardware to charge cars of other brands, the start of the charging process can take a little longer.
