How to use Radio Plus in your Porsche

Radio Plus, also called Online Radio, is a combination of internet radio and hybrid radio (which automatically switches between FM, DAB and online radio). It allows you to listen to online channels. Internet radio receives radio stations online, while hybrid radio automatically selects the best possible reception from the different available sources for a seamless quality listening experience.

To use Radio Plus in your car, you need active Porsche Connect services. You can check on the status of your Porsche Connect services here.

Please note: In the 911, Taycan, Panamera, and Cayenne from model year 2026, as well as the Macan Electric, Radio Plus has been replaced with a more flexible solution. You can now personalise your listening experience by downloading your favourite radio streaming apps directly via the App Centre. Hybrid Radio will continue to be available, allowing you to enjoy your DAB/FM stations even when reception is poor. You can find more information in How to use Connected Media in your Porsche.

How can I use Radio Plus?

To use Radio Plus in the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system go to:

Home > Media > Play > … > Online Radio (or type it into the search bar)

Internet radio stations can be accessed by categories such as popularity, country, genre and language. You can select them in the PCM:

Home > Media > Online radio > List

Then select your desired category – e.g., Genre.

How can I activate the Hybrid Radio?

The Hybrid Radio function ensures continuous and flawless reception when you are driving your car. When DAB or FM reception is disturbed – if you experience weak reception due to the immediate surroundings, for example – the PCM receives radio stations online when this function is activated.

To activate this function in your car, FM/DAB must be the chosen media source in the PCM:

Go to Home > Settings > Radio > Radio Settings and then select Online station tracking in case of weak reception

If you have weak radio reception, the radio station you are listening to will automatically switch to its online version. When this happens, the word Online will appear next to the station name.

How do I add radio stations to my favourites?

On Home tap > Media > Play > … > Online Radio. Select a radio station via the list icon or go to the Search tab, type in the name of your preferred radio station and select it on the right side in the Results list. The radio station will be played and be visible in the Play tab. Tap the star icon on the bar at the bottom to save the radio station to your favourites. To remove it from the favourites, tap the star icon again. To access your favourites, go to the tab List > Tap the star icon and choose one of your favourite radio channels.

Your radio favourites are stored in your Porsche ID, allowing you to access them also if you log in to another Porsche with the same Porsche ID.
